Eugenio Izzi is an Italian composer, producer, multi-instrumentalist, and DJ born in 1993.
From a young age, he demonstrated a deep sensitivity towards art and music, cultivating a passion for production and experimentation. He explored different genres and wrote music under various aliases before finding his artistic home in the lo-fi hip-hop and chillhop scene in 2018.
He crafts instrumental hip-hop beats infused with jazz, blending groove, melody, and atmosphere. His tracks are shaped by sensual guitars, warm pianos, analog synths, subtle vocal textures, and organic field recordings from everyday life.
His sonic research also embraces vintage analog instruments, adding warmth, depth, and an organic, imperfect character to his productions. Over time, his music has evolved toward a more rhythmic and expressive approach, where feel, movement, and emotion guide every track.
Eugenio’s distinctive style is constantly evolving and draws inspiration from Soul, R&B, Neo-Soul, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Broken Beat, Blues, Classical, and Electronic music. His goal is to create a connection between the music and the listener — crafting soundscapes that accompany late nights, quiet moments, and slow-moving days, balancing calm and groove.
He has released music independently as well as with leading labels in the scene, including Lofi Records (Lofi Girl/ChilledCow), Sleep Tales, Lofi Chill Records, Lofi Jazz Records, Pueblo Vista, Aviary Records, and many others.
Over the years, he has collaborated with a wide range of artists, including Mondo Loops, Hoogway, Sweet Medicine, Bcalm, Banks, Kanisan, Mell-ø, Ambulo, Kainbeats, ENRA, Yestalgia, H.1, Krynoze, Strong.Al&, drmycat, MyCeliumBug, and more, accumulating over 200 million streams across major platforms.
Through his music, Eugenio Izzi continues to explore new sounds, textures, and rhythms, always seeking to push the boundaries of lo-fi and chillhop while maintaining an organic, soulful, and immersive listening experience.
